Vibro Acoustic Therapy in Pediatric Hospital Ward

The effect of the therapy has been described anecdotically, based on the patients’ subjective experience. Some children in the pediatgric ward in Sykehuset Levanger (a local hospital) received in 1980 and –90’ies supportive therapy with VAT equipment provided by Olav Skille. (Reference: Dr. Sigurd Børsting). 3 children with Metachromatic Leucodystrophia (MLD) in Ullensaker community were given VAT daily with good results while they were in the day care unit.
